Based on what I share online, it’s easy to assume I only dress my little ones in organic and super special (aka too damn expensive) fabrics because of the potential problems I find in everything. (Yes, that’s me poking fun at myself).
Much to the contrary, I do purchase regular and inexpensive items for them because just like everyone else, I am working with a budget.
However, the more I research and switch to a life with less items simply because it’s less to deal with, I am able to find deals on things I never would’ve thought was possible because they are so expensive at full price.
This is how I’ve been able to purchase about half of my daughter’s baby clothes in organic cotton all at discounted prices.
I briefly spoke about it in my post titled Where I’ve Found Extremely Affordable Organic Baby ClothesI share one of my favorite resources, Amazon. But, who doesn’t love Amazon right? My other favorite source is a store named Hanna Andersson. However, I ONLY shop here when they have sales because they are pretty pricey at regular price. But I must admit, they have some of the cutest and highest quality clothes I’ve come across. The style of the clothes are simple but unique and I hardly ever see other kids with their items on.
Here are a couple of my favorite affordable picks. Please note that some of these may be on promotion or priced for a current sale. Plus, Amazon is notorious for changing their prices by the day, so I would definitely advise picking up the items you like sooner than later to avoid them not being available.
Hanna Andersson Night Night Sleeper In Organic Cotton
This one piece sleeper is super cute and unisex. That means it can easily be passed down from one baby to the next. It doesn’t have the feet attached with is good for the babies that get sweaty feet such as mine. This would definitely be in my shopping bag if I didn’t already have a set that pretty much looks just like this. Click HERE to check it out for yourself.
Burt’s Bees Beekeeper Honey Bee Organic Baby Wearable Blanket
Burt’s Bees is one of my favorite brands. Just about every item I’ve purchased from them was high quality and super cute to boot. Their wearable blankets are great for keeping your little one warm instead of loose coverings. Their organic cotton versions are awesome and stylish along with being affordable. Click HERE to check it out.
Touched by Nature Baby Girls’ Organic Cotton Dress
Touched By Nature is another brand that we’ve leaned on with our little one. Their items are affordable, stylish and easy to wash. I found them on Amazon and I keep purchasing them over and over. These dresses are just an example of the items they offer for less than $20. Click HERE to check them out.
Moon and Back Baby Set of 3 Organic Cotton Pants
One of my must haves for babies other than onesies is certainly simple pull on pants. They can be worn outside or in and are easy to toss in the wash if they get baby “stuff” on them. I’ve found purchasing higher quality ones that can stand up to tummy time sessions and lots of washes are best. I recently purchased these from The Moon and Back and love them. They are also unisex in their coloring so they can also be great for a baby shower gift. Click HERE to check it out.
Owlivia Organic Cotton Baby Boy Girl Zip Front Sleep ‘N Play, Footed Sleeper, Long Sleeve
Another essential is for a little one is a sleep & play. Its an easy way to keep the little ones warm, cute, and protected. The easy zip up opening make for quick diaper changes during the night or day. This Owlivia brand makes a lot of prints available on Amazon. Click HERE to check them out.
These are just a couple of picks available. Always be sure to search by price and always check both the brand’s direct website along with Amazon for affordable choices.
