The other day, I was having a pretty intense conversation with my mother about a completely unrelated topic that doesn’t need to be shared here. But, during the talk she asked me if she was embarrassing me based on what she was saying to which I replied “I talk about my period on the internet! I think it takes a lot to embarrass me!” needless to say, she looked at me like I had 3 heads.
Why are we so afraid of speaking about something women deal with on a monthly basis?!
It is my mission to normalize and help women learn more about how to naturally support their bodies.
So, you know that a visit to the Farmer’s Market for me is not like any other normal person. Aside from having a very loose meal plan in mind, I also try to pick up items that can help support my body and cycle wherever I am in the month.
If you’re interested in reading more on this concept of eating to support your period, be sure to check out this book as it is a great resource.
I made a quick farmer’s market haul video for my Youtube channel where I explained how each item can be used to help balance hormones. Check it out below and be sure to subscribe!!
