What do the Mickey Beignets taste like? 

When planning our Disney trip, we made a point to find the Mickey Beignets. But, are they truly worth the trouble of finding them in the one place they are primarily sold in Disney World? 

I have tried Beignets before, including on my Carnival Mardi Gras Cruise in Emeril’s Bistro. But, there was so much hype around the Mickey Beignets. So we went to Scat Cat’s Club Cafe to try them for our selves. A cast member was nice enough to explain how they are served and that they came with dipping sauces. This includes chocolate sauce or a strawberry sauce. The We ordered 6 Mickey Mouse Beignets instead of individual beignets so our entire party would have enough. 

They are different and much larger than a classic beignet with a more than generous dusting of powdered sugar. 

They Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets, spoken about so much and called a must-try snack were honestly just ok in my opinion. They were not good, but not anything to write home about. We opted for a larger quantity of beignets, but we could’ve honestly only ordered 3 to split between us. 

They are certainly fun and take a great picture, but if you happen to miss them, I wouldn’t beat yourself up about it.
