Getting a good night’s sleep has become harder and harder over the last couple of years. I’ve found myself tossing and turning for weeks at a time due to anxiety and uncertainty. I’ve even incorporated journal prompting into my evening routine, which helped tremendously. But, I was determined to find out what teas are good for sleep.
My research led me back to one of my favorite brands which I’d been purchasing from for years. And while they don’t exactly make teas for sleeping or teas period…they make a hell of great line of adaptogen based drinks and tonics. I have shared about them for years on my Instagram account and blog.
Rasa’s Calm Chill Tonic is one of the more recent products Rasa has added to their adaptogen based drinks. It’s become one of my hacks to a good night’s sleep and better sleep.
What Is Rasa?
Rasa is a coffee alternative made out of herbs such as adaptogens and other immune and system supportive herbs. Rasa creates blends for everyone and almost every purpose from helping increase a calm state, happiness, immunity, and even libido.
Their herbal blends are brewed by allowing the herbal blends to steep in boiling hot water for at least 15 minutes. You then strain the tonic out and drink it much like a tea.
It’s usually brewed in a French press, but I have brewed the blends using a loose leaf tea strainer.
The Rasa Calm Chill Tonic is unique in the fact that it’s made with unique and potent clam inducing ingredients like Jujube, Rehmannia, Ashwagandha, Reishi, Blue Vervain, and Blue Lotus petals.
Blue vervain is widely used in the herbal and natural world for calming nerves.
I have also been a long time Ashwagandha fan since I started focusing on monitoring my stress levels to help my hormones.
Does Rasa Calm Help Me Sleep Better?
The short answer is yes.
In fact, it helps me get some of the deepest sleep I have ever had without little to no side effects.
When I take the Rasa Calm Chill Tonic, I usually fall asleep easily with 30 minutes after finishing my cup. And due to the magically combination of herbs, I often end up having quite vivid dreams which indicates I’m sleeping quite deeply. Those in the herbal community would say it has something to do with the inclusion of Blue Lotus in the blend.
If you are still trying to figure out how to sleep faster and better, I would absolutely recommend looking into Rasa’s Calm Chill Tonic.
If you are interested in trying some of Rasa’s blends, consider getting their sampler pack. It includes all their bestsellers. If you have a French press, use that to brew them. If not, a loose leaf tea diffuser will work as well.
Good sleeping friends!
