This is a quick overview and introduction to the line of Target Beauty Capsule Boxes for 2021. These boxes have seemed to replace the Target Beauty Boxes and can be found online in certain stores.
Target has become a go to for most of us because of it’s incredible convenience. It has everything you might need and want all under one roof. The beauty section is a thing of dreams and is where you can find me strolling slowly almost every single trip.
This has been proven as true since beauty brands and even other department stores have decided to join forces with Target instead of competing. Ulta has recently debuted it’s Ulta Beauty at Target section and I’m sure it will be a hit.
But Target has a line of affordable beauty boxes that I love, but don’t get nearly as much attention as they should.
Target used to sell a line of Target Beauty Boxes which were called just that for around $15. They were filled with samples of popular or new products along with a coupon which you could use on your next beauty purchase. This was a great way to save money on beauty products in Target because you could try a small amount of what you were eyeing without spending a lot of money. In addition, Target helped you save money on beauty products by giving you a coupon for beauty products.
But, mid-2020, Target announced it would be ending the Target Beauty Boxes.

What Is Replacing Target Beauty Box?
Since then, they’ve been slowly rolling out different beauty product offerings and specials. The most recent are the Target Beauty Capsule Sets.
These are themed sets which are extremely similar to the old target beauty boxes.
Each box has around 8 or 9 items and often includes a coupon to save on your upcoming beauty purchase in store. Similar right?
What’s The Difference Between Target Beauty Box & Target Beauty Capsule Sets?
There’s only one main difference between the Target Beauty Boxes & Target Beauty Capsule sets. That is the inclusion of one or more FULL SIZED products. This is awesome and better in my opinion.
In the last box I purchased in store, I received a full size bottle of the Cocokind Texture Smoothing Cream which retails for $20 by itself. Between this and the coupon included to save on my next beauty purchase, I pretty much made money on the box.

Is The Target Beauty Box Worth It?
Absolutely! Whether it was the older Target Beauty Box or the new Target Beauty Capsule Set, I definitely think the boxes and sets are worth it. For less than $20, you can try new products, find a new favorite, and get an exclusive coupon. What’s better than that?
Can You Buy Target Beauty Boxes In Store?
Yes and No. I have been able to find both older Target Beauty Boxes and the new Target Beauty Capsule Sets in SOME stores. You can do a quick search on the target website by using search terms like “Target Beauty Capsule” to see what they are currently selling and use the store locator on the product site to see if it’s available at a store near you.
However, they usually sell out pretty quickly in store.
But, Target does sell them online which makes it much easier. I was able to find the Target Beauty Capsule-Fresh Finds Bath and Body Gift Set both in store and online. Long story short, the Target Beauty Boxes are awesome. While I opt for ones that feature clean beauty products, I feel they are all a great way to make beauty products affordable and accessible.
